I've known Tom Weber for some time now, and I've had the opportunity to watch how he approaches public service and representation. What stands out to me most is his commitment to fiscal responsibility and his focus on representing the people of our district.
In a state where budgets, taxes, and spending decisions directly impact working families, small businesses, and retirees, leadership matters. I believe Tom understands that reality. I've seen him emphasize responsible budgeting, accountability, and practical solutions rather than political noise. Whether someone agrees with every position or not, there is value in having a representative who takes the financial health of our district seriously.
Representation is more than casting votes in Springfield. It is about being accessible, listening to constituents, and staying connected to the community. From my perspective, Tom has made that effort. Our district deserves leadership that reflects its priorities and remains grounded in local concerns.
That's one of the reasons I will be attending the Get Out the Vote Fundraiser and Rally on March 15th at the Sandbar on Lake Marie. Grassroots involvement matters. Local engagement matters. Elections are decided by people who show up and participate, not by those who stay on the sidelines.
For me, attending this event is about supporting responsible leadership and encouraging continued civic involvement in our community. Regardless of party, being engaged at the local level strengthens our district and our state.
I'll see you at the Sandbar on March 15th.
